Polygonatum KINGIANUM COLL.ET HEMSL., a Liliaceae plant Dry rhizomes of Polygonatum SIBIRICUM RED or Polygonatum CYRTONEMA HUA. According to their different shapes, they are commonly referred to as "rhubarb essence", "chicken head yellow essence", and "ginger shaped yellow essence". It has the effects of tonifying qi and nourishing yin, strengthening the spleen, moistening the lungs, and tonifying the kidneys.
